Discovering Aotearoa (Summer Learning Journey)

I created a pepeha in class last term. I took a screen shot of it.


My Mum and Dad come from England but me and my brother Toby were born in New Zealand.


It' s important to me to go to England to see the rest of my family, my family mean the world to me. I enjoy being in their company. I like cooking with my dad. We go fishing and sea biscuiting on our boat as a family. We speak English.

    Thank you for sharing about your culture - I really enjoyed your Pepeha as well. Are your family all from England? I hope you get to go to England as well. I'm sure your family would love to be reunited with you! I have some family from Ireland, and I'd love to go meet them! :)

    Fishing and sea-biscuiting sounds like so much fun. Have you been going out on the boat a lot with your family? :)
